On December 2, 2019, SNERDI, along with Candu Energy, was awarded a contract by CNNP for pre-project work for a proposed two-unit Advanced Heavy Water Reactor plant.

From 20-22 October 2019, SPIC delegation, led by Chairman Qian, was invited to attend the Fifteenth Biennial General Meeting in London to discuss the challenges the industry faces over the coming years.

From Oct. 24 to 28, 2019, delegation from SNERDI, along with members from SPICRI, was invited to visit Rheonik for mass flowmeter used in valve test facility and KIT for Hydrogen facility in Germany.
