SNERDI delegation visited Rheonik and KIT

From Oct. 24 to 28, 2019, delegation from Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research & Design Institute (SNERDI), along with members from State Power Investment Corporation Research Institute (SPICRI), was invited to visit Rheonik Messtechnik GmbH (Rheonik) in Munich for mass flowmeter used in valve test facility and Karlsruhe institute fur Technologie (KIT) for Hydrogen facility in Karlsruhe, Germany.

SPICRI and SNERDI introduce the requirements of the flowmeter used in valve test facility respectively. Rhoenik presented its coriolis flowmeter products, including the major performances and the applications of related products. The three parties exchanged the applicability of the coriolis flowmeter in valve test facility, followed by a on-site view of production line and test facility and equipment of coriolis flowmeter.

Flowmeter is one of the most important instruments used in valve test facility of SNERDI and SPICRI.  The accurate measurement of pipe flow in the facility is the key factor for a successful test. Rhoenik is one of the companies which are proficient in coriolis flowmeter design and manufacture. Its products are used widely in industry such as refrigerant filling and marine applications. The visit and communication with Rhoenik deepen the understanding of the optimized design test facility and provide available solutions of accurate flow measurement. 

During the visit to KIT, the three parties communicate the hydrogen combustion simulation software named COM3D and visit hydrogen test centre.
