From September 15 to 21, 2019, delegation from Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research & Design Institute (SNERDI) is invited to visite AUCOTEC AG Company, the supplier of Engineering Base (EB) platform, in Hanover，Germany. The visit also involves KAESER Kcompressoren and Claudius Peters Company (CP), the key users of EB for further application development for SNERDI.

SNERDI introduces the development test plan and related obstacles of EB to AUCOTEC AG. Correspondingly, the development concentration of EB 2020, technical challenges and requirements, roadmap & outlook of EB are illustrated by AUCOTEC AG. The user requirements and potential problems of EB running for SNERDI projects are deeply discussed.

During the visit to KAESER Kcompressoren, the applications of EB in the whole life cycle from acquisition, planning, implementation, commission to operation phases of the project are presented by KAESER engineers. The initiative smart engineering reform, typical developed macros, workflows from sales to realization and synergy design between different disciplines of EB are exchanged between SNERDI and CP engineers.

EB is the key 2D synergy design platform for the new nuclear power plant projects of SNERDI. The further application development of EB is planned to be optimized due to its openness and flexibility features plus the high complexity and wide participation scope of design. The visit and communication with AUCOTEC, KAESER and CP deepens the understanding and provides available thoughts of the application and development of EB platform in order to achieve the high efficiency and better user experience by means of network and cooperation.
