The 14^th Meeting of Republic of Korea-People’s Republic of China Joint Committee on Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Energy (JCNE) was held in December 9-10, 2019, Seoul Korea. The meeting was led by China Atomic Energy Authority （CAEA） and Korea Ministry of Science and ICT.

Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research and Design Institute (SNERDI) and State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC) Center Research Institute attended the meeting on behalf of SPIC, together with China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN) and other Chinese organizations.

Vice chairman of CAEA Zhang Jianhua, Deputy Minister of  Korea Ministry of Science and ICT Yong Hongtaek co-chaired the meeting and signed the minutes after listening to the six working group leaders' reports on the cooperation in various fields and the next work plan.

During the meeting, SNERDI participated in the technical discussion about nuclear power (Group A), and shared our views and practices on nuclear safety and economy, as well as severe accident management with Korea counterparts. Both sides agreed to promote mutual cooperation, and discussed the next step.
