At 1:23am of October 9, 2016, 4 main pumps of Sanmen Unit 1 reached 100% rev. After nearly 6 hours’ constant operation, the plant transmitted to Normal Pressure and Temperature conditions, which was the signal for entering the most critical period of hot test.

The vibration of the main pump, temperature of the stator and bearing were all performed within the expected range.  The completion of full rotation of the pumps accumulated well experiences for the follow-up commissioning milestones: initial fuel load and first grid connection.
