November, 19th, 2015, a delegation led by Mr. Yiren Wang, the vice chairmen of China Atomic Energy Authority (CAEA) visited Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research & Design Institute (SNERDI).

Senior Vice President of State Nuclear Power Technology Cooperation (SNPTC), President of SNERDI, Dr. Mingguang Zheng, presented the progress on the National Science and Technology project, the executive condition of nuclear research & design programs and the main focused developing aspects.

Vice Chairmen Wang highly appreciated what SNERDI did on introduction, digestion and absorption of third generation nuclear power technology. CAEA will fully support the construction of demonstration project along with the overseas cooperation possibilities. As the leading entity to develop advanced nuclear power technology, SNERDI should be more pragmatic and effective, and achieve more tangible results.
