The 18^th China High-Tech Fair (CHTF2016) was held at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center from November 16 – 21, 2016 on the subject of "Innovation-driven, Quality-oriented". Large Advanced Pressurized Water Reactor - CAP1400, as one of the 16 national major projects, was invited to attend CHTF2016 due to the contribution it brought to the nuclear power industry in China.

Vice Chairman of the 11^th and 12^th National Committee of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Minister of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China, Professor WAN Gang, visited booth of CAP1400, and heard the introduction of the innovative achievements and intellectual properties attained through the implementation of CAP1400. 

Debuted in 1999, CHTFs have been successfully held with the support from Ministries and Commissions of the national government and Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government. It is the largest and the most influential scientific and technological fair in China and is known as the No.1 Technology Show in China. CHTF integrates transaction of achievements, exhibition of products, high-level forum, merchant attraction of projects and cooperation & exchange and focuses on the advanced technologies and products in fields of energy conservation, environmental protection, biology, manufacture of high-end equipment and so on. After years of development, CHTF has become as important window for the opening market in the China’s high-tech sector and played a more important role in commercialization, industrialization and internationalization of high-tech achievements.
